I am starting this blog so that I can chronicle my adventures over the next year as I lose weight, plan my wedding and enter my very first 5k. i have tried dieting and working out and all the fads before, but this time I am going to try not only for myself but to inspire others that have tried everything to keep trying. I have always had a love for food, and I'm sure I always will. But, I am learning that vegetables can be good and that pizza, even if it represents all of the major food groups isn't a diet plan. Although it should be).
I just got done preparing my breakfast and lunch for tomorrow. I usually do this every night before I go to bed because I work super early and I'm super lazy. I have a small notepad that I write everything I eat in it, but for the past 3 or 4 days I haven't written a thing. Weekends suck. I am home and want to eat everything. i am pretty sure I ate about 4,500 pounds of hotdogs this weekend alone. When I am at work I don't have the luxury of eating whenever I want, so I have a little more control. One thing that has been helping though has been these drink mix-ins from Slim-Quick. They really help to curb my appetite because they make me feel like I'm about to throw up everytime I eat too much. They also make me feel full until about 4pm which is great because I am usually awake at 6am.
It's after 10, so I need to go to bed, but I will try to post every day and with luck this will motivate me to lose more weight! More to come!!!
